I wonder... 2 years ago I stopped playing DayZ because all of my friends quitted after we lost our camp on the normal map (forgot name) and got banned from our favorite Takistan Life: Revolution server (because we were killing cops as terrorists/paramilitary wich we were allowed to do but there was a kid as admin who couldn't handle us).
Jan 08, 2017 Takistan Life Rise of South Dear ArmA 2 Community, today I officially release this Takistan Life mission to any community and player out there. This mission builds up on Takistan Life: Revolution but has been futher developed for the last 3.5 years by me. Hello im having a bit of trouble, ive tried tons of scripts and forums but non seem to work for me. The only one that was close was a post by xjordannx but even his didnt work. What im trying to do is make a script or find one that allows only blufor units to get a option (Addaction) that allows. Check out Corsair for the BEST in peripherals and hardware: If I get permanently banned, it has to go in the title, even if it mea.
Now after 2 yrs I'm 'homesick' (:D) for Takistan Life: Revolution, I want to play it so bad with a group I just met, is it still active in the ArmA 2 mod, the TLR mode? Are there a couple of servers alive with lot's of people? Is it still interesting to install the whole thing to play it? (I remember the installations of the mods were annoying and took time reading a guide).
I played the default Mode and Map of DayZ Mod too much back in the days but still love TLR. Would love to kill some more cops to then read in chat: 'We are cops, you can't kill us, I'm gonna ban you' that was so funny.

This page will give you basic information about Takistan Life mission from Arma 2 game.
The lead developers was proxy and Cinematics with help from mike and Ken
Takistan Life is a mission, which means player doesn't have download any files ('mod' files) to play the game. The mission will download automaticly while joining the server. This is basic difference between Takistan Life and City Life. City Life is mod for Arma 2 game, which means player has to download the mod files and install mod to play on City Life servers.
Recently Takistan Life has been ported over to ARMA 3 for the mod Takistan Life
Getting startedEdit
After you join the Takistan Life server you should always do the following:
- Read the server rules and follow them unconditionally. This is usualy done by displaying map (press 'M').
- Find your position on map and try to get familiar with individual objects marked on map itself. These objects include ATMs, factories, banks, gas stations and others.
- Get familiar with controls. Takistan Life mission have special controls, which are explained below or in the map mode (default 'M' key).
- Change your state of mind. Takistan Life is not deathmatching mission, this is very important to realize before you start playing. If you wish to 'kill people' or deathmatch you can join other PVP or TVT (team vs. team) servers. Takistan Life is role playing game and not deathmatching game, meaning killing other players is not main goal of the game, but it can happen often during playing it as part of role you play (for example robber shoots a police officer while escaping). - iProxy

Map markersEdit
Map in Takistan Life contains many markers, some of them are explained in this paragraph.
| Place | Description |

| Civilian Spawn (CivSpawn) | This is place in which all civilians spawn at the beginning of game or after death. Usually you can buy a car license, engineering license or cars nearby. |
| Police Base | Spawn place for police officers |
| PMC Base | Base of private military contractors (aka PMC, Contractors or mercenaries) |
| Gas station | Provides refuel, refuel kits, repair kits etc. Can be robbed. |
| Gun shop | You can buy legal weapons here, provided you have a license. |
| License shop | Licenses (becomes obsolete when you start owning factorys) |
| General Factory | Allows you to buy items such as Nightvision goggles, Speed boost moduals, GPS, range finders, shovels, pickaxe. etc |
| Weapons Factory | You can manufacture weapons after you buy this factory. TIP: if you or your gang is hostile to Police forces it can be a good gameplay to own this factory. |
| Haji Bar | Enables you to buy alcohol or special black market license which enables you to buy weapons on black market. |
| Gang Area | Gang area enables you to process drugs, buy certain weapons without license. You also get extra bonus money if you capture gang areas. |
| Workplace | You can get taxi missions or delivery missions here. If you place slaves nearby, they will produce money you can collect from them. TIP: police can raids there areas and set the slaves free and arrest the player who owns the slaves. Slaves are extremely expensive, protect or hide them well! |
| Slave trader | You can buy slaves here. You won't need any license, but you will need a car to transport them. Slaves are controlled the same way AI is controlled in Arma 2. |
| Oil processing and mining tools | You can buy here oil license, shovels, pickaxes, jackhammers. TIP: buy engineering license before you go for jackhammer. |
| UN convoy | This markes shows you current position of UN convoy. Winning UN convoy will be usually extremely profable. |
| Black market dealer | Weapon seller. You need black market license to buy weapons from dealer. |
